Activities in the Poconos Near Lake In the Clouds

The Poconos Mountains are a big amusement park. Activities are scattered all over the 2400 square miles of this region of Pennsylvania and Lake In the Clouds is smack dab in the center of the region. Located between the two tiers and closer to the lake region and slightly north of the section of the Southern tier along Rt I-80 which we call the “Ski region” since all of the major ski resorts are located in this area. The northern region is the “lake region” and it is along Rt I-84 with no major ski resorts, but more lakes.
